Market Updates - November 4th, 2007 (Saturday)
Fear or
Greed?:
The sell-off we expected after the Fed cut was one
day later than we thought, mostly due to a stronger than expected
GDP and job numbers. It will be a battle between fear and greed for
a while. The short term outlook based on our Signals is cloudy. This
does not necessarily mean a dramatic crash but some large swings
while the Financials are looking for their bottom. Keep in mind that
the Financials make the largest sector among S&P, its impact on the
overall market is very significant.
Recommendations Update: Our Model portfolio is
all in Cash since 10/15/07. Have not seen very good entry points
even after the 25 point Fed cut, we will wait patiently for a clear
bottom.....
